The Yuchengco Museum opened in 2005, in the heart of Makati's financial district. The Museum does not only showcase art, but also serves as a “forum” of exchange, debate, and education that seeks to spark the spirit of creativity in every visitor. Its permanent galleries highlight the life and legacy of National Hero Jose Rizal, the works of National Artist Fernando Amorsolo, and the distinguished career of Ambassador Alfonso T. Yuchengco. As a champion of the creative industries, the Museum supports local creatives with its two commercial platforms: YSpace, its events venue, and YShop, its retail space.
