The National Museum of the Philippines – Cordillera, formerly known as the Ifugao Museum, features the gallery “Binodbodan and Pinilian: Shared Textile Traditions Among the Cordillera People,” showcasing the rich textile traditions and cultural heritage of the different ethnolinguistic groups in the Cordillera. Museum services include booking and guided tours, visitor engagement activities, and demonstrations on traditional practices, such as transforming cotton into thread. These activities provide visitors with opportunities to learn about the museum’s collections, both on display and in storage, while promoting cultural heritage preservation. The museum also conducts museum education activities in partnership with schools, government agencies, and non-government organizations to promote appreciation, preservation, and transmission of Cordillera culture and heritage.
