Museo Pambata is a hands-on and interactive socio-civic museum in the service of Filipino children, the first of its kind in the Philippines. It aims to provide an alternative to the formal classroom environment, engaging the minds of the young, inspiring them to learn more, and revitalizing what child education should be – fun and exciting! Opened in 1994, the museum envisions to the Filipino cultural learning playground that celebrates the Filipino child and childhood. Through our exhibitions, programs, and events, we empower Filipino children to learn by experience about what it means to be an active agent in nation-building.
