IMIN The Philippine-Japan Historical Museum tells the story of more than a century of Philippine-Japan relations through the experiences of Japanese migrants and their descendants in Davao. Established in 1994 by the Philippine Nikkei Jin Kai, the museum explores Japanese migration, the abaca industry, the growth of the Japanese community, World War II, and the journey toward reconciliation and friendship. Visitors can explore historical artifacts, photographs, digital materials, and recreations of Japanese life in Davao, gaining a deeper understanding of how these shared histories helped shape the city and continue to connect generations today.
