The Bangsamoro Museum is responsible for the acquisition, documentation, preservation, and exhibition of artifacts, works of art and textual and iconographic records representative of the region’s unique identity and its people’s diverse cultures. One of the permanent exhibits in the museum is a historical timeline on the violent politics of identity of the Bangsamoro in the 20th century. A few ethnographic objects coming from the five provinces of the BARMM consisting of brassware, textiles, pottery, among others are also showcased in the museum, including the 2000-year old secondary burial limestone jars from the Kulaman Valley in Lebak, Sultan Kudarat Province.
